Non-profit Community Mental Health
for Central Arkansas

We realize the decision to seek counseling may be difficult. We are here to help you help yourself.
We offer pathways to wholeness, healing, and hope through caring and effective mental health services.

We help make our community healthier, safer and more productive by improving the lives of the people we serve, helping individuals and families build on their own strengths, and supporting the work of other caregivers.

Our Values

Service:

We strive to improve the value of our services to individuals, families and organizations by responding
to their needs in an ethical, accessible, safe and professional manner.

Staff:

We recognize that a professional and diverse staff is PCA’s most valuable asset and that we must continually improve recruitment, growth opportunities and retention of staff.

Partnerships:

We value partnerships and promote community networking. We are an ever-available resource for caregivers and community organizations.

Outcomes:

We measure the effectiveness of our efforts by their results, including client improvement and satisfaction, and community impact.

Dollars:

We work to maximize revenues and resources to meet the needs of those we serve, while minimizing costs and the duplication of services.

Community:

We work to educate the community about mental illness and mental wellness, to reduce fear and prejudice against people with mental illness; and to inspire trust and confidence in the value of PCA’s mental health services.
